Dario Ghersi

Dario Ghersi graduated in Medicine in 2004 in Genova with a thesis on IMMSIM modeling. He worked with the IMMSIM team for one year (2004-2005) in New York. He then joined the Ph.D program in computational biology at Mount Sinai. He defended his thesis on structural bioinformatics (development of tools or identification and classification of binding sites in protein structures using energy-based approaches, with applications to large scale docking experiments) in February 2010. He is presently a postdoctoral associate at the Lewis Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics at Princeton University.

His research interests are: mathematical modeling of biological systems, complex networks.
